Mark Secker has mainly focussed on collaborative music-making in more recent times but will present a solo programme in this, his retirement year, including a work he first performed on the NCMA stage in 1981, just prior to joining the staff of the Nelson School of Music. In honour of Beethoven 250, the programme features the "Tempest" sonata along with shorter pieces by Bach, Chopin, Ravel and Liszt.
